Uffington State Forest

While looking at where was Medowie (http://nobmob.com/node/40441)
I've found a few rides in the Uffington State Forest, next to Clarence Town > http://goo.gl/maps/ekYDl

Does anyone know if it's good over there? More singletrails than firetrails?

To start with it is actually called Columbey National Park now. I've been up there a few times. There is a reasonable amount of singletrack which connect to the sides of the main firetrails. The singletrack isn't like what you would find at a dedicated mtb track (no berms and stuff) but it is still quite good to ride though. There are some pretty big hills as well, Tower road is a cat 4 climb.

If you go onto this website ( http://maps.six.nsw.gov.au/ ) and find Columbey National Park it will show you all of the firetrails (more than what is on google maps). You will find quite a bit of the single track that goes off Pathfinder Trail, Eagleton rd and Tower rd.

Thanks mate. That NP is not showing at all on Google Maps; on environment.nsw.gov.au it says that "this park was created in July 2007"!

Looking a bit further on Garmin's website, I can see there are activities close to Woerdens Road, which is actually still Uffington State Forest according to the NP map. But I will do some more research on the area you were describing.
