Manly Dam Trail Run Sunday 10 February

Reminder from the Manly Dam Rangers:

G’day Mountain Bikers

This Sunday 10 February another Trail Run event (http://www.mountainsports.com.au/sydney-trailrun... ) will be held at Manly Dam from 7.30am to approx 10.30am. The trail run route takes in part of the mountain bike track, and it is anticipated that more than 300 runners will be taking part in the event. The runners will be using a portion of the shared track (fire trail) from Wakehurst Parkway to the Allambie shops turn off. There may also be infrastructure related to the trail run on the shared track (fire trail). If possible, please refrain from riding the track during this time. Riders need to take extreme care and give way to runners.

We are also having some re-grading and drainage correction works undertaken on sections of the Fire Trail, between Curl Curl Creek and the Roosevelt Ave entrance at Allambie Heights, over the coming week. Please be aware that there may be large machinery operating on the track Monday to Friday. Please heed all cautionary signage and stop and dismount as required.
