Singleton Track
Anybody able to give an update on the status (or likely status) of this track after the recent weather? I'm heading up to Pokolbin next weekend and need a training ride or two to keep the legs in shape for the Capital Punishment. Singleton looks closer than Awaba and Awaba is currently RED anyway.

i would say it would be dry enough to ride. dont know what the weathers been like at singo though
Pokolbin down the road got 150mm of rain over 3 days so I am guessing for some soft spots still-I will PM some places to ride in Pokolbin for you also.
the track at singleton is usually fairly dry + singleton doesn't normally get as much rain as the newcastle area.
thanks, would be interested in any local details (as an alternative to mixing it on the roads with weekend drivers!)
Has been plenty of rain up there, river peaked at 12 metres on Sunday. With some minor flooding.
The track drains really well, and it has been dry all week. If there is no rain next week, definitely be good to go.
Lach have you ridden there before? What day will you be up there , I might pop out for a lap or 2, all this rain has made me soft.
will be aiming for Saturday morning. Timing may be a bit dependant on how good the red wine is tonight....
This weekend or next?
If it is this weekend. I want make it as I will be heading for Wingello for the Willo enduro.
Next weekend should be fine. I live in North Ryde during the week and Singleton on the weekends. Long story.
As for reds much prefer the wineries around Broke, Margan, Whispering Brook, Stomp, Catherine Vale
