Has anyone bought a frame bag for a dually (Kona Dawg Deluxe)to carry gear in on their mountain bike?

This guy is a friend of mine and will make high quality custom frame or bike bags for anything.

He seems like a really nice guy to deal with, and has great reviews.

I have trouble wearing a backpack/hydration pack while riding so use frame bags to carry a hydration bladder on longer rides.

While I haven't received a bag from Bike Bag Dude yet...we're in the process of spec'ing one for a dually with (what I percieve as) all sorts of challenges, and nothing is too much trouble.

I already have a Porcelain Rocket bag on the rigid which is also excellent... be aware that, like a camelbak, stuff just seems to accumulate in the frame bag until your 9.5 kg weenie bike weighs 15 kg at the trail head. Sad

He made one of his first frame bags for me. A 'prototype' you might call it for my Anthem. (dual suspension)

Although it wasn't quite perfect, it was fantastic. My HuRT adventure wouldn't have been possible without it. Revelate designs and others make some great stuff too apparently, but nothing beats a custom frame bag that fits perfectly! I was able to carry most stuff in my frame bag, while my camelbak was empty most of the way. I only had to fill up my 3L bladder on my back once for a long stint with no water resupply point.

I have seen some of his creations since, and they look awesome. He is a professional sewer. That's his job - he knows what he's doing.
