Stuck saddle...please help
Hi, I want to remove my saddle off my Crankbrothers seatpost. I've undone the bolt completly but because the saddle is one of the big recepients of dirt from our rides it just wont budge. I've tried twisting it...it doesn't budhe and have even given it a few sharp bangs....NOTHING happening....seems like they have a lifelong friendship.
Anyone got any hot tips on how to divorce these two friends as I need to transfer my saddle to a new bike?

Have you tried a few squirts of WD40?
First give it some wd40. Let it soak in then try Lever it with a flat head screw driver
Twothommos - I recently came across this issue on my mates bike about 3 weeks ago. The trick was WD40, apply then wait for 15 mins or so. We used a piece of wood a broomstick handle cut down to a manageable size. Basically hit the wood whilst pressed against the bracket, two or three light taps with the hammer ( but not to hard ) it should come off no worries.
The wood prevents any damage to the alloy but acts with enough force to break the seal.
Hope it helps
Wade
Thanks dudes...all good - applied some TF2 and some tough love....worked a treat!
