Thanks for the easy ride (9km) Brian, never done Cascades from Ralston Ave..quite a climb...
great to get back out on the bike...feeling a little unfit...remedy = ride more..

Good to meet you Shane, after you left I went back in and started with the single track up top. Half way around I saw a fork we normally ride past and decide to venture down. Well after 20 about minutes of riding and walking a lot of technical down hill I was starting to think about turning around but stuck with it. Eventually came out near the creek crossing which leads up the quarry track. I then did the same circuit we did which in all totalled an extra 1 hour and 20 minutes. That said, I'm feeling a little sore today.
