Trail riding this weekend ?
Just putting it out there, I assume the most decent thing to do is give it a miss for this weekend. Hit the road bike instead.

looking at the weather page, Ourimbah looks to have missed much of the rain.
Might be an option,
Duck Holes and Centre are fine to ride in the wet if you're not concerned about the consequences to your bike.
I'll probably be hiding under the doona for the weekend. Gah! headcolds...
If I was fit to ride I'd be looking at an Akuna Bay + West Head road loop.
... it looks like a ride on the weekend will be a ride in the rain. Even on bitumen that's not much fun. Time for some bike maintenance or resting up for (and / or from) the Wallabies v Lions clash fixture.....
I think I'd give Ourimbah a miss, I live nearby and we have had plenty of rain.
Please stay away from Ourimbah, it will be a boggy mess.
Thanks for the Ourimbah update.
Surprised the weather page shows such little rain for Ourimbah,
when Sydney has been wet all week.
I live & work 10 kms from the Ourimbah trails they will definately be very wet.
Awaba missed a lot of the rain last weekend - but not since. It's very very wet.
You'll need to go on a long drive to find dry trails.
If you want to play in the mud.
there is a cyclocross race on at Newcastle.
It will be a true Belgian feast of muddy madness
Check out the action from the cyclocross race...

Sure fun to watch!-but got shivers down my back as I heard mud, grit n water grind the drivetrain as riders went past.
