Terrey Hills Base training ride
![hawkeye's picture hawkeye's picture](https://nobmob.com/files/imagecache/user_avatar/pictures/picture-663.jpg)
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
Aiming to take in Duck Holes, Centre, Perimeter and Long and maybe a side order of Cowan.
Given that I can't see the mud bogs near the Nerang Rd entrance drying much since last weekend, we'll probably start Perimeter at the Jap school, so there will be a few more road kms than usual.
We'll regroup periodically but I'm looking to keep stops and chinwag sessions short... eg, no stop at end of Long.
Total distance will be 38-44km
Can be flexible on the earlier side for start time if needed.

Hey hawkeye is there any chance you could post up a map of the route you take for this ride after you do it??
I wont be able to make it but it sounds like a good loop. I usually ride AM or DH but am starting to get into a bit of XC just for something different and am looking for rides around this distance.
PM me your email address and I'll try and dig up a past strava ride.
My young bloke has just indicated he wants to repeat last weekends effort which included 12km each way riding to the trailhead from home, so the Duck Holes and Centre part *may* drop off.
Will confirm by Friday.
but hawkeye this ride is posted for Monday morning?
Fixed!
D'Oh!
I sent you a PM, hoping to come along if I've got nothing else and help keep the “training“ pace
Sounds good. I'm not real quick at the moment. Just started rebuilding after poking myself in the ribs with my handlebar and getting a couple of colds in a row.
'Twas a good ride. I'll sleep well tonight!
I feel surprisingly beat today... possibly due to 5 consecutive days on the bike, but that did make me work a bit. My stupid GPS turned off so I can't record where I went but I'll check up yours!
