I'm down in Tathra and just had Andy Johnson show me around the trail network and it's fantastic, some of the best flowing track I have ever ridden. The work that Andy and other local trail builders have done is incredible, so thanks Andy for showing me around, I really appreciate it.

If you are planning a trip to the far South Coast of NSW make sure you stop off at Tathra for a ride I'm sure you won't regret it.

We went down at Christmas last year.
Amazing trails!
Well done to the small community that builds and looks after them.
Well worth a visit.

Couldn't agree more guys...

I spent the Easter week down there with the family and we all had a fabulous time riding the local trails. lots of variety with something for everyone. Only downside is that both my boys are getting faster as I seem to be getting slower !
It's a great place to visit. very pleasant town with excellent beach, some very good cafe's, a cracking fish and chip shop and a brilliant restaurant up at the top of the hill ( Fat Tony's ). TO top it all, there's a well stocked bike shop who managed to fix a snapped spoke on my rear wheel early on Easter monday to make sure I didn't lose a day's riding.... legends !

It was great to see so many people there on bikes. Most of the cafe / shop owners we spoke to said they were getting more and more people coming to stay who said that the MTB trails were their main reason for coming.

It's a 6 hour drive from Sydney but I'd strongly recommends it.

Aye for spoiled! I lived a while in Braidwood (bizarre Friday and Sunday arvos as half of Canberra drove through) and having Mogo just down the hill, Sparrow and the Kow 1/2 and hour away, an hour to lots of good stuff in CBR or Goulburn.
Try Bermagui, too from Moruya. Ripper trails, native forest. There's been forest work in there but the trails are up and open again.
