Roadies hitting the trails
Saw one of the more interesting sites on manly dam today. As I was heading up heart break a guy on a roadie was coming down. I wonder if someone was inspired by road bike party!!!

Plenty of people are riding them... Looks like a road bike but they are a different beast. You can easily ride firetrails with them.
I'm surprised how much punishment those bikes can take. Best way to save your mtb when wet!
Firetrails?
There is a photo on here somewhere of the Alchemist racing stromlo DH on one
I've had a lot of weird looks when I take my CX out. Its been to the Oaks Single track, Glenrock, Mt Annan, Mowbray Park Farm, Yellomundee and several other off road locations. I've seen a CX at Old Mans Valley and Knapsack.
I know quite a few people locally who have added the CX to their N+1 collection. They are starting to become a very popular option for commuters as they perform well on the road but also can handle some dirt riding. The CX is the Jack of trades but the master of none.
There you go, you learn something new everyday. Had me very confused when I saw it in the trail.
