Looking for trail courses for hire/permission on Northern Beaches
Hi riders
I'm hosting a National Unicycle competition on the Northern Beaches in October and one of the disciplines is Mountain Unicycling (Muni). You may have seen some of us round the Dam/Red Hill 
I've heard the Dam is next to impossible to 'hire' or have approval for an organised race. So was wondering if you knew of any other trails in the areas that can be used for an organised race/meet.

What about Terrey Hills BMX /Pony club area where the cyclocross event is held.

You can apply for a permit for Old Mans Valley.
Its noted on the Hornsby Council OMV Page http://www.hornsby.nsw.gov.au/my-lifestyle/sport...
I havn't seen St Ives so have no comment.
I have been on a social ride with some Muni's before and I don't believe the JJ Abrahams Reserve at Terry Hills used for Cyclocross is technical enough unless you count hoping over some pony barriers.

Hoping an email to the Mayor helps me on my quest for venues/areas to host trials, street, track and 10km races on the Northern Beaches.
Keep an eye out 4/5/6 October for lunatics on one wheel.
