Hi can anyone recommend a good camping ground in the blue mountains close to some good trails? Hoping to see some great views by bike this weekend.
Any advice would be great

Do you require car access to the camping area? Do you plan on travelling by car, bike and/or train to the Mountain Bike trails/points of interest?

Do you have any preferences regarding tracks or destinations?

A few weeks ago I camped at Murphy's glen near Woodford which is the start of the Oaks Fire Trail, and also at the end of Anderson's Fire Trail if you fancy a tougher ride. The campsite is free and possible to drive to carefully in a 2wd if it's dry, but it was secluded and I was there completely on my own. A small toilet block is the only facilities, so don't expect any luxuries! There weren't any real landscape/ mountain views, but the camping is among dramatically high trees and there's a fair bit of wildlife buzzing about. If you do The Oaks ride though you will get some great views along the way. On a final note, watch the weather as it's been snowing up on the Blue Mountains already and it's going to be cold!

You can camp at Euroka campground in Glenbrook NP, which is just a short firetrail ride from the (newly improved) Oaks singletrack. Not the most scenic of campgrounds, but there are some nice views in the area and you get the usual wildlife around.
