Bedford Creek Crossing
Hi guys looking for some info on a ride I intend to do shortly, I'm plan riding Oaks -Ingars - Andos - Oaks.
My questions are the following
I've heard there is a log a few hundred metres up Bedford Creek you can use to cross if the water is up or save getting wet feet ? is this correct ? any idea where the said log is ?
Once over Bedford Creek is the link trail to Ingars obvious ? I cant see it (not showing) on the mapping program I'm using to plot GPX file ?
any tips (water top up / food close by etc) would be welcome
Cheers in advance

The log is about 10 meters downstream of the crossing, easy as to find. Once over the creek take the next trail to the right and start climbing, that's Ingar. Water available at the top of the Oaks fire trail on the gate, not sure about the top of Ingar but you'd be looking for somebody's garden tap I reckon.
The only food is Glenbrook really so make sure you stock up.
If you're wearing a pack (or 2 large bottles), water won't be an issue between the top of the Oaks, up Ingar, down Ando's and back to the top of the Oaks in this cool weather.
The Ingar track is pretty easy to find - look for the stupidly steep hill on the right after the creek.
There would have to be a tree down after all this wind so be careful flying down the descents.
This is the trace of the social ride we did last year;

As mentioned, travelling from Woodford. Down tothe creek. A fallen tree can be accessed roughly 10m to the left side. Straight after crossing the trail will have a fork. Right is Ingar, left is the Andersons. Regardless which way you go they both have a killer climb.
On the return trip down the Anderson FT, you will have an additional creek crossing roughly 200m before the the other crossing you already did.
This crossing has some rocky stepping stones.
Alternatively, invest in a pair of waterproof socks.

I made the investment for the Stinging Metle race which was unfortunately cancelled.
You can sometimes find these socks at military disposal stores and camping stores.
