Hey guys saw this video and I don't recognise half the spots in it. Is there more than just the one track at manly dam?

That's known as "the extended loop".

Never seen someone taken that line on the Manly Hydraulics techy bit.Definitely out of the box thinking there.

Yep, it's actually a new track found on Old Man's Island at the far end of the Dam. If you park at the Hydraulics Lab, ride into Manly Dam park on the road, all the way to the end past the picnic spots. Right at the end, there's a shared path that leads to a footbridge over to the island. Take it easy as it's shared with a lot of walkers. Once on the island, there's a 300m steep climb, which then leads to some of the track you saw on here. It ends up linking with the standard track around Cootamundra Ave.

The island is actually Oldandslow Mans Island.
I have the KOM for both the climb and and the pump track loop located behind the detention centre. Island now has permanent security patrols and cameras. Access is via a secret passcode only. S.P.O.K.E.Y.D.O.K.E.Y.

You can even run the "steps" on the left too, or if you have enough speed, launch from just above the step to land on the wooden slats, then the rock after becomes a double to the landing on the right of the trail.

Those trails aren't new, only the one along bantry bay rd is new and is still a WIP, the rest have been there for well over 20 years and are ridden daily by locals, the rangers know we ride them and will be modding them soon for us mtbers, the only not to ride is full of stairs and is a very very no go zone and also they very inside loop which 10 years agos was so much fun.
