2014 Mont 24hr - Rider wanted for 4x team
Hi there, hope you don't mind a Mexican dropping by. Hawkeye suggested I drop a post here (and can hopefully vouch for me, though we also haven't met IRL - so really I could be anyone 
).
We're seeking a rider to replace someone who's had to pull out; the team is from another forum and haven't ridden together, but basically aiming to give it a shake without being in serious contention if that makes sense... so no pressure to lap the field. We're looking to recoup the entry fee for the guy who's pulled out, but I'll have to dig through old emails to find out how much that was...
Currently registered in male/open category - but I can always check if we can change to mixed if need be.

I was invited but can't make it due to a clash with a prior commitment.
They're from bicycles.net.au, where you'll have seen me post a few product reviews in the past, including tyres, Ground Effect gear, a couple of 29ers, trail lights, Kali Amara helmet, etc.
All the folks I've met from the BNA forum have been really nice people. Although Matt being Mexican might be an exception - I seriously don't get that came they call "football"

I got in touch with "Just for fun" a few weeks ago but the spot had just been given away. However I think i read Volker just did his coller bone....
So if anyone is short of a rider. 4 or 6 teams I'm keen as mustard. reasonably fit for an old man. Although Elites need not apply. LOL

Stan, we've got an opening in a team of six in masters if needed. I've checked your time around the Dam and you're a good deal quicker than me, which is the main requirement.

We've got a regular team but this year has been a little disjointed with the rescheduled race.
You'd easily fill a team if you put up a post.

Hahaha... yep, we've hooked up. I hear cruising the Yarra Flats bike path here in Melburn is another solid option.
