Just beat me to it!

You can find a bit more detail on the wamc page here: http://www.wamc.nsw.gov.au/projects

"WAMC prepared a Statement of Environmental Effects (SEE) following the BCBP Plan and extensive community consultation over several years. WAMC submitted a Development Application including a SEE for an integrated recreational facility to Warringah Council on 27 November 2014. The DA process will offer additional opportunities for community consultation and engagement.

An Expression of Interest (EOI), coordinated by the Office of Finance and Services, will call for private sector organisations to manage the BCBP. The EOI will be advertised on the NSW eTendering website for six weeks from December 2014 to January 2015."

Note, that it's an expression of interest, not a full tendering process just yet.

I must say this is a *very* pleasant surprise. I had become very pissed off and disillusioned, and had written it off as dead in the water after Council pulled out, deciding to cease investing time in what looked to me to be a doomed effort. (Not that I had invested much.)

I'm excited to have been proved wrong.
