Stolen - Yeti's Neutral Bay

2 brand new Yeti's stolen from secure underground car park, 2 block locks on the garage door & chained together with bike locks etc in the garage(what do you have to do to be secure). Reported to police with serial #'s photos & video.

Black ARC-C (29er) large & Medium frame 575 (27.5) Yeti turquoise. Have loads of video but with heads wrapped doesn't give that much help. They took over an hour to bust throught my garage door early Friday (Feb 20th)morning between 1 & 3.00am afer crow barring one of the fire exit doors to gain access to the car park & bringing bolt/chain cutters with them.

To me it looks like we've been targetted as no other garages seem affected & this follows a robbery in June last year. I know they can come back after a period for the replacements but I was in the process of upgrading the security & had drilled in ground anchors for heavy duty chains last weekend.

Please keep an eye on any sales websites ebay, gumtree etc. The 575 has only been ridden 3 times so may be advertised as new. Please PM me if you have anything specific.

Chrisso - I feel your pain.

I feel your pain, happened to me last November. Same thing basically and they "only" took my 2 months old Kona. Since then my better bikes pretty much live with me. Hope you have insurance. Post it everywhere and most importantly post pics.

Marc,

Sorry I'm back late checking this post, thanks for the comment. I do have insurance & swung into action immediately having been through the process last year. I may well be hanging the replacements in the spare bedroom.
I have photos in other media & will take your suggestion & post them up.

Saw it yesterday & waiting for a call from the cops.

Call them. NO guarantees they'll connect bike to owner even if all your and your bike's details are in the COPS system.
