Down in Vic riding the trails in and around Bright having a blast. Great place to visit and the town is very MTB rider friendly.

I'm finished in Bright now and heading to Ballarat. Bright is a great place to ride, I stayed at the Bright Holiday Park, which isn't too bad and the XC trails start right at the park.

There is plenty of single track to ride, I did about 50kms all up over three days and I also did about 120km of Rail Trail riding.

The Mystic MTB Park is the main area for riding with a variety of tracks from green to double black. Didn't do any double black, however, tried a bit of the plain old single black stuff and I found it very challenging in some spots.

There's plenty of climbing to be had, so pack a set of climbing legs if you want to hit the hills, there's also some really good fast flowing stuff along the creeks/rivers which was my favourite to ride.

Bright is definitely a good place to ride and the local bike shop, CyclePath, was really helpful and offer a great service.

Brilliant cycling destination, for all forms of the sport. Great family holiday spot, restaurants and its own brewery.
