Hi Christine. As I stated in the post, I only submitted it to warn riders to check sections in case some rocks have moved to avoid a nasty crash. No disrespect but Ive read your posts and disagree with your views. "motos" were riding in there well before mountain bikes were even close to being advanced enough to handle the terrain and we have them to thank for a lot of the trails you and myself enjoy and I don't feel chasing them with phones getting rego plates and reporting it to the police is beneficial for anyone. A bit of mutual respect in the bush for one another and for the trails goes a long way.
Yes we rode motorbikes up there as kids as well.. those days are long gone.
But I feel that there's a big difference in responsible behavior and the attitudes of a few that tear the crap out of the place these days.
Note to Mr Moto.. I'm pretty sure that you actually can ride sensibly without destroying the trail for everyone.
Yes perhaps lot of the single tracks started as Moto lines, I'm pretty sure that not all of them did, but I'm 100% sure that they all wind up getting trashed by Moto's eventually.
Personally I also don't really care to be the Moto/4WD police and thus wont do any reporting and I've long given up trying to talk some sense into the ones I do come across doing the wrong thing.. you just wouldn't believe some of the insults/aggro/arguments they bring/present?
Anyhow call it out for what it is, the damage is real and the evidence is abundant, the facts are that cars, trucks, 4WD's and motos are NOT permitted.
I think you said it best anyway "A bit of mutual respect in the bush for one another and for the trails goes a long way"

My son wont ride up there with me anymore cos of a near head on collision with some motos on the main trail near the houses. I've had one very ugly exchange with two motos (from their side) before, which could have gotten outa control. Reason doesn't exist in those situations...Bit hopeless really.

Sorry to hear that about your son. I think we are pretty lucky with how many places there are to ride where the motos don't go anymore, manly dam etc etc I can sympathise with the lack of facilities for them. If it means having to share Red Hill I think its only fair.

With respect, I must admit I don't quite get the purpose of this post. It's a nice sentiment to want to warn about the potential of changed sections, but if you really want to assist with correctly addressing this problem, you need to be recording rego numbers and reporting them. It's not about whether you, or I, think we need to share and get along; it's illegal. End of story. No good complaining about damage motor bikes and 4wds do if we're not prepared to do something about it.
By the way, why is the original post now just a full stop?

Christine, not sure either. That's probabky a good thing otherwise Oldandslow and I would be bombarding this site with pics of us mono-ing our tandem. And with Oldandslow on the front, that's a hard task
What happened to Mr PedalPumped?
Has he taken his bat and ball and gone home because he didn't get the response he was looking for?
Complaining about the damage done to Red Hill by 4x4s whilst defending motos. How ironic!
Would also love to post some pics. Got some crackers of SpokeyDokey back in the 80s' and 90s'.
More instructions please Hawkeye, in English.
I think PedalPumped friend (Max Kelly)is asking about Red hill status now http://nobmob.com/node/50646
How interesting is to see that they just sign in into NoBMoB?
Any rego numbers?
no
You get regos and call the cops? Motos and 4WD arent allowed in there. You be far better off calling the police than posting on here...

I've spotted them before as well at the bottom of 4WD Folley.

Sure it's only fair to share.. but actually they are not permitted by a little something called law?
