Wingello
I am thining of heading down to Wingello later in the week for a ride - I have heard it is a nice part of the world.
Do you have any advice? What is it like? What can I expect?
Cheers.

Some fun sections of singletrack joined together with some relaxing fire road. You can pick up the map showing the trails at the shops in Bundanoon

I went there recently and did the red section of 25k's singletrack linked by fireroads.
Even a direction finding muppet like me found my way around it easily. Trail is easy very well signposted. But I would get the map to find your way in there- you can pick it up in Bundanoon I think- see the link alchemist posted. Mid week and I didn't see a soul. There's toilets and facilities. Take your own water.
I would allow a few hours at least to do some other trails (there's 3) or do the red trail again (better option). It's a great trail, certainly not overly technical at all. Just nice flowing singletrack up and down through the forest. Enjoy.
The best part of the trail is the stuff down by the Great Wall and flowing through Nyers Gully (aka. Fern Gully):
Of course you've read the Wingello Page on here, right?
This is a nice easy loop, but it's hard to follow to begin (very overgrown). Did it with the GF at Easter, hence the slooooow speed

You can then add part or all of the WWS circuit to the end (this starts at the same place as above):

Did I say the Great Wall was the best bit? Hmmm... maybe Tangles, etc. are too. Oh dear, you'll just have to ride it all!
If it's a nice day and you want some kays, go all the way to the end of Gulp Road. I mean all the way (past the monument to the fallen firefighter - bearing right there). The view at the end is apparently real nice. On a day like today I really envy you this ride!
