Petition - Help MTBA gain direct ASC/AIS funding

Mountain Biking receives no independent support or recognition by the Australian Sports Commission (ASC), Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) or any other National based funding agency.
MTBA encourages all mountain bikers to sign this petition for federal government financial support of high performance and grassroots development of mountain biking.

Apparently road, track and bmx olympic teams have $700k funding while the mtb team gets nothing. Mtba asked for $30k to send a 4 rider team + staff to a rio test event and nothing. Would have thought there would be some support with a medal chance in men's and women's.
