Well to keep Christine's alcohol intake up, I have posted a night ride for Wednesday. The weather has been a bit average the last few days so we may have to ride Duck and Centre which are usually a bit drier.
Way too much rain.....how annoying!

My first night ride in Oz!
This is the mating season for the wild & ferocious Australian drop bears.
Make sure you wear the only known protection from these beasts.
The skivvy!
See you Wednesday
Pikey
Really enjoyed my first night ride last week Friday. Definitely up for more this week. See you there.
Bart
I'm there if its dry....
Loz
.... ditto Loz,
"I'm there if its dry...."

This could well be a mud bath. It has rained 60mm in Terrey Hills in the last two days. Not looking good at all so far. We'll make another assessment tomorrow.
Won't be happy if the Wed night ride gets washed out two weeks in a row!
we could always do a road ride?
followed by the usual ales
While we are all mindfull not to tear up tracks when it's wet, here is an extra warning should you be considering to ride Cascades.
I was there on the weekend and was astounded by the amount of damage caused to the fire trail by a heavy vehicle - a thousand bikes could never cause the same amount of damage. The damage is on the lower part of the fire trail in the vicinity of the Quarry track turn off.
This heavy vehicle must have been doing wheelspins because it has a gouged out a number of bike/horse/runner swallowing holes (metres long) that are now mud pits with pooling water. There is no hope of these drying out before summer and because they are lower than the rest of the trail they will continue to be a source of erosion until they are remediated.
Scary stuff Loz. Don't let Junkie and Cupcake lure you to the darkside
Next you'll be caught on the bitumen on a carbon contraption like Liam (http://nobmob.com/node/4590) and Tien
Even though most of my favourite tracks have had plenty of rain on them over the last day or two there is no mud to be seen anywhere, gotta love the bitumen
Does that mean you're not bringing your roadie to Canberra Buck?
That is all just wild speculation.
I have canned tonight's ride due to rain so I'm in for this but I think this will meet the same fate.

Cant make it.
I'm out, just a little too wet.
Out, don't care if it doesn't rain for the rest of the day.... its gonna be wet cold and miserable...
maybe will see if I can borrow Liam's carbon roadie...
your get your indoor trainers together and go for a spin on those???
Yet another night ride canned due to weather. There is a huge band of rain heading towards Terrey Hills so I don't think it's going to be any fun at all tonight.
Nah, not even I went tonight. The beer may be good there but not that good. See you next Wednesday!
