Ourimbah State Forest - Sat 7th
Does anyone leave near the Ourimbah tracks? I'm keen to know what it's going to be like after the recent rains. I know deals with the rains better than other places and that the grave yard is closed already. Keen to do a ride tomorrow if poss... anyone?

At the weather... (it's on the left under navigation)
Bugger, couldn't make the over nighter, can't make Canberra, can't do Ourimbah.
Port Hills in Christchurch had better be worth it! Mind you they are forecast snow. Anyone got some forearm warmers going spare?
so how were the singletracks today ?
Didn't go in the end, but looking at the weather I concluded it was probably alright up there. Keen to get up there next weekend though, if anyone is interested.
yeah I might be interested next weekend, unless the Oaks + Andos up idea from Leopafe goes ahead. Need more challenges for the Angry doctor !
Tom
Yeah Andos was on my mind too, although Ourimbha would be more suited to the doctor in term of single track and surface. The good thing about doing the Andos ride is that you HAVE to get 50 odd km's in to get home, where as Ourhimba you have to push your self to keep lapping, it's hard when you keep riding past the car
That said there are loads of trails there I have yet to explore at Ourimbha..
Me too there is lots I haven't seen - but aren't most of them firetrails ? This is the impression I get when I look at http://nobmob.com/node/596

Anyone keen for monday the 9th??? i live at gosford, saturday was fairly dry but its sunday morning and its raining a bit.
Most of ourimbah wont be too bad in the wet. a little mud never hurt anyone !!
Is anything happening with this as I was thinking start there at 8:30am on Saturday.
I would be keen for a trip to Ourimbah on Sat.
Hi Gary
Have you been there before as I don't want to post a ride for somewhere I haven't been.
Cheers
Brian
Ourimbah on sat and andos + oaks on sunday ?
But maybe a bit of a later start than 8.30 as it's a long drive from Sydney... I have only been there once but I know the way for the main awesome XC loop, could do about 4-5 laps !
Tom
Hey Brian I am afraid and slightly embaressed to say I have never been there, but am happy to go exploring.
Your 8.30 time would suit me better.
I'm keen for now, as long as I can get the car. 8:30 might be a little early for me though
I'll let you know closer to the time.
