Isn't it satisfying to see just how much awareness is being made to keep us safe out there. I guess it was really asking too much to keep the sign out of the bike line...

I had words with a site supervisor before Christmas about placing a "Bike Lane Ends Ahead" sign in the middle of the bike lane at Barangaroo. Ended up getting a bit heated.
They did actually do the right thing in the end and move it out of the way... until this morning.
Would they put a "Left lane ends ahead" sign in the middle of a normal lane? Imagine the howls and social media memes if they did.
Why then is it seemingly acceptable to do it to cyclists?
Looks like I need to train another site safety manager to think logically about safety.
