Narrowneck Peninsular

It was misty and cool
not stormy and dark
As we nervously met
in old car space.

There was Mark and Peter on the giants
but for me GT made sense
Darren and Joel on Santa Cruz
and Meggs on his Tracer

Over the gate
and away we went
Through fog and light rain
that didn't let up

The trail was fast and fun
but then something went bump!
how that bump made us
sail through the air.

Up a small hill
we regroup at the top
then down the other side
so steep it was hard to slow down

What followed was more
of the same
with water bars so big
you could fly if you were confident

Another small climb
to the top we did power
and stopped to regroup at the base of the
transmission antenna

Joel was suffering
He'd almost had enough
he only had DH gearing
but the young kid was well 'ard

A bit of a chat
with walkers coming the other way
a small feed of dinosaurs
and we convinced Joel to keep going, what the heck

Out to the end
Joel didn't even spew
And we stood on the cliff edge
and admired the scenery

360*
Our eyes did feast
out through the mist
10meters at the minimum

Down to the ladders
Before having a snack
then drenched but happy
we remounted our bike and started on the return journey

Oh would you look at that
I ran our of time
here are some photos
as I obviously can't rhyme

Who rode back into Katoomba to meet the Things at the aquatic center and so finished the day with a sauna, a spa and a couple of laps. Noice

Write a few paragraphs Flynny, and add it to the trail database. You've done 95% of the work already mate. Smiling
