Kangy Angy trails.
Blackbetty's dad and I went to check out these trails that we found behind tuggerah westfield. Lets just say I had a bit of a shocker. Fell off multiple times and feel really battered and bruised. THe one that sent me home was when it felt like I nearly hyper extended my elbow. The pain that I'm in now gives me a whole new and ridiculously high level of respect for GAZZA! My main problem seems to be carrying too much speed when I land, getting understear and washing out. Im also heavy handed on the brakes giving which makes the shocks sag and throws the angles of the frame all out resulting in much pain. Something to work on i guess.
All in all I'm not that damaged just really sore!
Enoy the pics.
Picture after this shows the result of stupidly putting front wheel in hole like that!
Didn't land so well this time and the result of this will be evident in the end pics.
I'm not sure if you can see the difference in size but there's a big lump on the right elbow.

That is some nice looking trail. When are you posting a ride Blackbetty?
Oh, and recuperate quickly!
nice pics and trail man, that near ourimbah eh? love to check that out! looks lovely!
Ouch, that elbow doesn't look so good, sure all the pieces are still left inside and where they should be/connected?
On your pics... in low light something is going to be blurred 'cos the shutter speed is low. You should try panning the camera with the rider (watch the rider through the camera viewfinder) and continue panning as you gently squeeze the shutter. This way the rider should end up sharp and if there is anything blurred it'll be the background. Forcing the flash to be on sometimes helps with small cameras too, although things can end up too dark you can fix that later with software. Also crank up the ISO if your camera has that option. Not too high though 'cos that often makes things come out all 'grainy'.
Ooop, that was meant to be a quick comment. Anyhow, sweet looking trail and get well soon!
The trails are reasonably small. They are behind a residential estate and I would imagine have been built by the local riders from that area to have something as their local. There's some good jumps and tricky technical descents. The huge amounts of leaves makes controlling speed on the landings hard.
I probably won't be riding there for the minute but here's a google maps pic of where it is.

You just follow the track at the bend of Tonkiss st up towards the coms tower at the top.
