Jul/Aug Wingello Working Bees
With Fling entries open and people signing up all over the place think it's an apt time to mention a couple of working bee weekends in July/August down at Wingello.
The two dates planned as of now are:
Saturday 19 July
Saturday 23 August
If you want to help building on some top trails in the forest contact Huw, details here:

for a reply from Huw to confirm the trail building dates are one day each, rather than the whole weekend.
If so, I'm gunna post a weekend down there if anyone's interested - a day of track work & a day of riding; the Bundanoon youth hostel is doing deals for people who are helping Huw out....
Rob if you are able to confirm the dates are that day only, I'll put up a ride meeting..
Sorry Morgan, don't know so you'll have to wait for Huw. From what's written on the page think the plan is a whole weekend of digging in the dirt, but I may be wrong. Think it says you should say if you'll only be there for one day.
Can't do the August weekend and 19th July is 2 weeks away - not sure I'm gunna get the OK from Frau Small for another weekend away ivo the current request in for a new bike...
The Wingello Trail Fairies (there was a rumour that some turned up in bright pink fairy wings, but somehow this was not captured on film) descended on Wingello SF on a cold but glorious morning last Saturday for the first of the two winter working bees; the result was the resurrection of the entire Banksia Drive section of the Wingello Single Track including the construction of a new timber bridge across the boggy section of the trail.
By the end of the day the red trail arrows had been changed so that Banksia Drive was back in the loop and good to ride.
The pre planning meant that the bridge, almost literally, dropped into place and this along with trail work was completed by mid afternoon.
