Trailcare has been working with council to reinstate the volunteer maintenance days for Manly Dam MTB trail. These will be held on the 3rd Saturday of each month. The first of these will be this coming Saturday (19th August) and will focus on a section of trail between the 19th hole and the playground at the corner of Churchill Crescent and Cootamundra Drive.

Trailcare has identified several sections of the trial that need significant attention and these will be the target of furture volunteer days

We still have a few spots left for those interested in lending a hand. Please PM me directly and I can confirm details.

This is great news!

it's well time for some 'trail love' on this loop. being one of the few legal mtb tails in Sydney means its a popular destination that gets an average of 4500 - 5000 laps a week and that number is increasing.

let me know if you're up for a session with some other passionate bikers to help improve the trail. even if it's only one morning a year we can make sure the trail is in great shape for some great riding!

Sorry I can't make today, spindog.

Hope to be able to help out at the other days. Just a question, if we bring sleepers can we build berms??? Laughing out loud
