only problem is its the weekend after the Angery Doctor

Oh, what a shame... it's in South Australia and too far to go! Eye-wink

For those who don't know what Gazza is ouchie about, check the profile, 4 laps of this == 4000m of climbing in the 100Km distance:

That vertical is akin to doing the 4 gates 8 times - ouch indeed!

If id heard about it acouple of months ago id have looked in to it abit more, O well just have to put it on next years list todo, though that list is getting bigger & Bigger. might need another year out at this rate Smiling

that explains why not many people rode it in 2007 when you look at the results !

only with bigger hills and about 1000m more climbing...truly inspiring! Eye-wink

I don't think this would be a totally enjoyable event...50km is along way to be riding up hill!

The reason for so many DNFs is that it's 4 laps, you've gotta be feeling a little average after 75kms of hills, and being back at the start/finish line it would be hard to head out again for another lap.
