Snow riding practice in Sydney!
From sunny blue sky to snow & hail in 30 mins!
So we got back from a great sunny ride in Terrey Hills...(joined by Graham, Harry, Chris and the young guns Benji, Xavier and Nick)....
Weather was nice and sunny for most of the ride...with just a bit of light sprinkle on the way back to the car...but there were ominous clouds hanging over the eastern horizon....
To our shock we encountered what looked like snow on the way home on Forest Way...
And on arriving home, the street scenes were more like Whistler, not the leafy North Shore:
Not Whistler or Silver Star, but our wintery backyard in...Sydney!
Benji amazed about his first snow in Sydney...
Practice in the snow - 10 mins after sunny Terry Hills we were greeted by snow! (Bit cold in shorts....)

I had my 7yr old and 9yr old riding in tee shirts on Sunday. It would have been interesting explaining to "she who must be obeyed" getting stuck 8kms out on the Terrey Hills Long track with the boys in tee shirts. Note to diary: ALWAYS include weather protection just in case.
