How long for Manly Dam trail to dry up

Just wondering, what's the consensus on how long Manly dam takes to dry up after it rains. it rained on thursday and i'm planing to go out tomorrow on saturday, do you think 2 days is enough time? i know that we probably should be riding there if it's wet so i don't want to bother coming out all the way from the city and have to turn back.

thanks

Do you mean dry enough to ride on? Or actually dry? Because I don't think all sections of Manly Dam have been completely dry for about 12 months now. The section after the children's playground and road is always muddy and a clay pit. The section at the end of the downhill 'freeway', just before the creek crossing, is also a notorious mud pit. In terms of dry enough to ride on, I think you should be okay to ride there now. Just look out for the mud holes. Those things are nasty!

cool, i'd gotten the impression from reading posts that people try not to ride when it's wet cause of the erosion issue, i am happy to ride in the mud tho Smiling
