Just saying g'day
Hi all.
Just thought I'd intorduce myself quickly. I'm another Pom and have been over here since the start of the year. I've not had chance to do much riding yet, but that should change soon as my bikes are on their way over at last.
I love riding downhill and singletracks and cant wait to get back into it.
I was down at the world champs yesterday and could believe how easy it was to get to see the stars (there no chance of that at fort bill). Had a 15 min chat with Peaty after his qualification. Its weird. I've lived a few miles down the road from him for years and have even followed him round Warncliffe a few times, but its takes me coming over to the other side of the world to actually to have a chat with him! He did say the Canberra weather yesterday reminded him of Sheffield, so he quite fancied his chances lol!
See ya soon,
Dave

I got an awesome photo of Peaty doing the drop off the rocks about 1/3 way down his finals run. Now I just need to figure out a way to get it off my camera.
Welcome - hope your bikes arrive in one peice. If so take them up to Oxford Falls. Its one of the best spots for DH and Freeriding. You might also enjoy Manly Dam for some exercise.
Hey Peaty is one hot rider. You seen the "seasons" footage. Aggressive!!!
Hi Dave, get that bike out of the box and onto some rides! I was overly surprised how much great riding there is in Sydney especially up the North Shore. Thanks to this NOBMOB site everything you need to know about rides, other riders and events is so so sweetly laid out.
See you out there
Well Penistone actually.
Ahh Wharncliffe, fond memories... It's been a reet nice yorkshire summers day n'all today. There's now't wrong wi a bit of rain, top stuff.
See you round the Dam when your bikes arrives.
