What a race!
What a race, that would have to be my favourite course ever, the relentless climbing was soon forgotten when whooping around the single track that seemed to get better as the race progressed. I found the track exciting and at the same time safe with no sudden surprises, I hit a max speed of 66.3kmph and I'm keen to hear what others did especially your max Steve01 crazy man? I think I went out a little hard early (like most) as I had a 50km time of 3:00:55 and the 2nd 50km took 24 mins longer so maybe a slower 1st half may have resulted in a shorter overall time. Congratulations to all finishers of this challenging race with many impressive times.
It was great to see such a large Mob down at the race with everyone enjoying themselves in the sun which I certainly didn't expect after the previous days weather. I'll be back!

I hit 67.1km on the single speed as I can only pedal up to about 30km before I run out of legs the rest was all gravity yeah ha.
I was resting on the downhills
...I need more lube or weight!
Hey John, my max was 67.0 km/h but I'm guessing Bruce got close to double that.
had gears I think Damien could have hit 70km/h. The speeds are remarkably similar, I'd to have a crack at that hill going for a top speed when I'm fresh.
I am not sure exactly where I did that speed there were quite a few sections where I just let the bike go and the 29er wheels would just take off I was a bit suprised to see it when I was checking the speedo at the end.
Will show the fast sections, and my average heart rate 165bpm

I like all the info you can pull up of that thing looks like the fastest hill was early on at the 15km mark. I wasnt pushing myself too much so my average HR was down a bit at 158bpm with a maximum of 197bpm 6 short of my max.
Nice and cheap, works a treat.
