I just read one of his books "Every Second Counts" a good read by all accounts. In it he talks about how he was continually pestered by the drug testers (beyond normal testing) because they all thought he had to be on drugs to acheive such unbelievable results. I personally think he was clean. If you read the book you will know what I mean. Only wish there was similar books about Mountain Biking.
