Its on again! The NobMob Christmas BBQ! How does a few laps of the dam sound followed by a BBQ with the Mob?
Ive just booked a BBQ, one of the ones where you just push a button for the gas to come on. Its near the playground (wherever that is) I'll advise the BBQ number soon.
Don't forget its booked ALL DAY so if you want a brekkie, lunch or late arvo BBQ go right ahead. BYO food and extras to share.
Look for the sign NobMob/Andrew Lai on a BBQ, we wont fit all our meat on at once so be prepared to cook at various times blah blah blah
As per last year we will have to organise ourselves into ride groups so I'm sure someone will post some rides before the BBQ, unfortunately the rides are social and hot laps will not be encouraged..... 
Rangers are welcome to drop by for a feed too!

how about we do a morning christmas decoration lap of the dam and then have champagne breakfast that can flow into lunch - Lorrie said he has to book the bbq area for the whole day...
that would be FUN!!!!!

The 21st of December is a popular day for parties etc. Had a cancellation and can make it now. Will be there for the lunch session(s) with bells on, singing No-el No-el, no-el no-el. Have to be at another event in the mid-arvo.
we will RIDE to this one.....
I never done Manly Dam so I would like to come. Put me down as a possible maybe given it is on a Sunday morning and we could be in a gutter or still dancing somewhere.
Can I bring my partner and how will I recognise you guys.

presuming someone posts to do a lap or two before the banquet of endless food and bike discussion we usually meet at the Hydrolabs by the dam - we are usually quite easy to recognise, just listen out for people teasing each other on the street!!!
whoever posts often says what they ride and drive anyway...
And of course you can bring your partner - silly!
Maybe can come in the morning, however I have a Buck's night the night before.. also Am flying out to the US in the afternoon, so we'll see.. Would love to come and say hi though.
if you came for that ride tomorrow night we could see you then! but that aside, it would be great if you came - and if you are still drunk then all the more entertainment for us!!!
So is Beanie going to this BBQ? I know there are plenty of people wanting to meet this new person. It's always good to cycle a lap of Manly meeting new people.
I think I saw you last Saturday morning at Manly Dam, well I think it was you (I recognised you from your banana eating photo) but you didn't stop for a chat.
I was there with my friend Roger. We were stopped near the rocky section a little after 8.00am and a group of riders just effortlessly cruised by manhandling their bikes over the rocks, I was very impressed with your power. I went after you but you scootered away like a naughty boy.
Our choir is performing Saturday Night so the Sunday BBQ is only a possible at this stage. Thanks for the personal invite, its sweet of you to think of me.

sounds good though i kind of impaled myself on my handlebars (right on the centre of my sternum) last weekend so i'm not sure my ribcage will be in riding condition by then.
fingers crossed, will add myself to the list if i feel up for it.

I reckon allow an hour between laps and do as many as you want
First start at 8am Bernd etc
2nd start 9am the bulk
3rd start 10am whovever's keen
11am head to BBQ
Will be there with the boys and possibly Deb. A couple of casual laps, bbq'd protein and some chilled amber hydration. Mmm...
I have put the Xmas BBQ in my diary with double asterix's, so unless the guys from the choir lead me astray (again) I will be there looking out for the Nobs.
Liam, i'm going to bring my 'goose and maybe we can get away for either a Hot Lap or a social Lap. I promise I won't hold you back.

You must have me confused with someone else Beany. I ride for my own enjoyment and am not particularly egg'ed on by the actions of those around me. You could say I am my own man. But, look forward to bombing off some stuff on the 'morrow.

Stacked the Zinn a coupla weeks ago at Ourimbah and did the front wheel in beyond my feeble abilities at truing. The good chaps at u kno where have fixed it for me and my beloved returns today!
.. to hear she is all fixed up again!!
I picked up a new hanger for the Norco and she is running well, too!!!

Sorry to the Nobmobbers for not showing! I got to happy and drunk saturday night chasing a certain lady and was in no shape to attend the BBQ!
I've placed my nose in a corner of my room as if i were back in school...hence the late apology! lol

Sorry guys I turned up to Manly Dam (a little hung over) and I found your group but a combination of the raucous nature of the mob and me being shy among strangers had me hanging on the outskirts and not staying too long. I was the quiet one in the camo pants and white T - a coincidence we both like camo gear.
Next time when the group is not so big I might be a bit more forward.
