When:
Saturday, 3 January, 2009 - 09:00
Duration:
3 hours
Come Rain or Shine:
I'll be there, no matter what the weather.
Meeting Point:

The car park on Commerce Lane Glenbrook. It's conveniently placed directly behind the bakery that is popular after doing The Oaks.

Commerce Lane Glenbrook
Details:

There are some wonderful single tracks in this area with plenty of shade and techy fun bits but not overly hard, a reasonable fitness and level of experience is required for this ride. Fun rating ****
See you there. Smiling

can't get the car Sad

If anyone is going from the northern beaches and can give me a lift please let me know.

Damien's picture

Can we do this ride again on the 18th as toasted training?

Carlgroover's picture

Once you do this you'll be twice as happy because the Oaks I rate at 2 stars compared to 4 for this ride.
Dylan, we could adjust the time to suit the trains if that helps?
John.

Will be up and back and in the car to head home by 9.00am

I've been thinking of doing Mt. York then but knows as I'm on a runaway training schedule at the moment. Too many rides to do and not enough days.

Damien's picture

Mt. York sounds good too.

I'm 70% certain to be there for this one. I'll confirm later tonight if that's ok.

Will be catching the train up.

Scott's picture

Confirmed. See you at the back of the bakery.

Glad you can make it, and I'm sure you'll like the trails.

Thanks all, I really really enjoyed that single track. It made riding the Oaks afterwards suck big time
(+ I snapped a few spokes doing it and ruined riding tomorrow).

Was a good pace today and hope to do these trails again soon (do them twice next time).

And John, you were right Dave is seriously fast, he hammered up the heli pad!

Carlgroover's picture

Could be too much fun, aaah? ok good idea. The pace was real good today, we'll be back Smiling Now that Dave has caused me some pain on rides but hey he commonly wins B grade. Shhh, my tip is he slows down after 180km on the road, so didn't I give it back for the last 40km.
John.
