An Intimate Evening By The Warmth Of A Nuclear Glow.
By the sports field on Old Illawarra Road, Barden Ridge.
PLEASE READ THIS FIRST PART CLOSELY; The meeting point is not the playing field. It is on Illawarra Road opposite the nuclear reactor. Park on the road shoulder. It may seem an odd time and day yet I work the weekend so it's the best I can do. Plus, I rather like late arvo rides.
As mentioned elsewhere, this ride will be all about our team meeting one another and stretching our legs. However, everyone is most welcome. We'll only be riding my preferred XC loop with NO freeride excitement at all with no deviations or pauses to session jumps and/or drops. There will be loads of climbing, tight single track, rocky descents and small furry animals to chase. Oh, and reptiles and spiders too. But no chickens!
We ought to have ample daylight for a couple of loops yet for those who have them feel free to light up for when the sun sets.

For the earlier training ride I would come along.

havent done menai yet and the timing is good. so long as nothing else comes up should be right.

and I'm also recovering from a wedding I went to yesterday. I know, I know - bad excuse. If my knee it better, I'll come out for the Wednesday night ride.

That’s my third ride in a week at Menai and enjoying it more each time. There are so many great trails and with Delicious's knowledge they've been linked up to make some great rides.
Also it's been great meeting and riding with other mountain bike fanatics.
Looking forward to Wednesday's night ride, I know it's a fair drive for some, but believe me its well worth it when you get there.
Enjoyed meeting fellow bikers and some of the Mont team. Look forward to more of the same at Menai and getting fitter! Thank you Peter for taking the time to give me some pointers and tips on rocky downhill.
