Given Damien's earlier up the Oaks ride what are we planning on doing at 9am? Did you want to ride for 3 hours or was that to include John's motivational speech and movie screening? Eye-wink

Any clue on which bike to bring?

Should be long enough from what Gavin said.

I am doing the Oaks first so I can get a good 6hrs or so of riding time in total as I need at least one longer ride (4 - 6hrs) a week now leading up to the solo 24.

Hey the ride will be a couple of hours followed by a moving speech by John on how to survive a 24hr race!!! V says take the Yeti but she would say that wouldn't she... it is Yeti country though.
John I hope that speech is coming along nicely....

good company and expert advice. i'm sure john wont be short of a few words! i've never really taken him as being the shy type! Eye-wink

Would be a good option for the chat after the ride. Spacious, comfy, air conditioned & a nice range of refreshments.
Now Gazza will turn green.

Sorry guys, can't make this now. I'll be riding with Critty on the Sat morning though if anyone is keen, probably around cascades, Terry Hills etc. for about 3-4 hours.

Hey guys I just checked the train time table and there are no trains running in the mountains this weekend so V and I are looking for a ride up if possible.. Rob? Steve?
Man we cant wait to get a car sorted! Im well and truely over the hassle of the trains.

Hi Gav - I can give you two a ride. That kind of solves a problem anyhow as I was going to go with Steve, but he was thinking of going to the earlier ride... so this gives me an excuse not to go with him and therefore him a defo reason to go earlier ('cos he doesn't have to wait for me). If any of that warped logic makes sense? Eye-wink

PM me your exact addy... will probably have to be round there around 8-ish. Erm... 'cos I note the meeting point says Glenbrook now - wasn't it Woodford before? Confused!

Its a 45minute drive to Glenbrook from Gavin and V's place.
