Gauging interest for NoBMoB only AMBC Day
Update: OK, it's on June 14 20 @ Ourimbah. Cost will be half price (ie. $80pp).
After the talk in that thread asking about AMBC thought I would have a talk with them about it. Clearly feedback like this is a good thing and I'm pleased someone who sponsors the site is so highly regarded.
I mentioned the level of interest here and asked if we could get a NoBMoB only day going. No worries they say, and if we did this could get a discount thrown in too. Nice! 
So I'm posting this to gauge level of interest anyone has for such a day. 6 hours of tuition with up to three 'master instructors'.
Location would be dependent on what people wanted from such a day - so if you are interested mention that. Personally I'd like to carry more speed/momentum through corners on single track circuits but learning to ride the A line at the 19th hole wouldn't hurt[1] either.
So anyone keen?

the Mont so we can use our new skills to do faster laps
... about feeling out of your depth with the boys on the skills course. I've been told I ride like a girl, so you'll have company.
After all the problems i've had in the last year with my back, bike positioning would be ideal and which muscles to have switched on while climbing etc.
XC skills really is all i'm after, how to go faster up hill, conering and some techie stuff would be good.
as long as it's on a Sunday. Saturday mornings always cut into my ocean swims and I just spend a small fortune on a super slimming (not) wet suit that wants to be used
I guess, it would be great to do it before the Mont, but we might have left it a little late.
Advanced XC & some DH sounds good,similar to Ditty's thought's.
What a bummer the original skills day was posted for a Sunday so I could make it - but it's now posted for a Saturday which is hard with kids sport.
What are the chances of having a Sunday Nobmob Skills Day.

Rob I think you'll find the demand for a AMBC/Nobmob skills Day on a Sunday was greater than the demand for a Saturday. Three members specifically asked for a Sunday (Gilbo, Anke and me), while no one requested a Saturday. The now cancelled AMBC/NOBMOB skills day was also posted for a Sunday and it filled up in no time.
Maybe AMBC can split it over two days or as nobody specifically asked for a Saturday it could change it to Sunday to suit the needs of those who answered this thread.
Shame i'm gonna miss this as I could really do with some added riding skills....
How about pushing it back to around September
I'd prefer Sunday, but will fit Saturday in if that's the preference for most people.
Anyone else got a preference for Sunday?

.... like Paul & Pikey the kids sports on a Sat takes care of us.... hence most of our rides are on Sunday mornings, when she's happy to show her face!!!!
