I went with some mates yesterday morning (my first time at the dam)...FWIW, they commented that it was more wet and slippery than they remember.
I still had fun though, even if my lack of skill saw me walking more often than i would have liked!
yeah theres a fair bit of run off at the mom, rock gdn etc, worth by passing ( pkway ).
you round there - i am planning on riding there after work too...
what time are you guys thinking ?
i guess...haven't ridden there for so long...hoping there wont be too much traffic - have no idea about the others!
....and should get to the dam at about 6:30 (will enter via Bangaroo street). Will be going for a reasonably fast one as he still needs to ride back to Pymble afterwards and I will be riding back to Waverton area.
are just weird - i shall wave as you fly by if i even see you - is it true you were riding 'round there in the dark one morning as some unearthly hour this weekend?!!!
....If you can keep a secret, I was riding with the Turramurra guys on Saturday...shhhh
that is DREADFUL and you should be embarassed!!! lol
oh my god - did you even wear their outfit too?!!!
.... but no, I don't have the kit ...yet
Just for the record, they are a really nice bunch of guys!!
That are members of TORC...
...just teasing..they are always nice when we see them at Terrey Hills (they often ask after certain nobmobbers!!!) and they have been great with my brother in law who keeps taking his bike there even though he has yet to ride it...
My response was meant for Chitts...
Some of those guys are pretty strong riders!
Rode 19th hole to Dam wall on Sunday arvo (still getting over the flu) and there were a few puddles but overall much better than I expected. No shortage of grip, but bike needed a good wash afterwards.
The recently reconstructed section with the drainage channels seems to work quite well. I rode it in reverse to get home and for some reason those channels don't seem so deep on the return leg.
