Jetblack Enduro Grips?

The Rush got that long awaited (well - 3 weeks it's waited anyhow) work yesterday. As well as sorting the brakes (now feel tops, but have left the lever reach a bit too far out) and a few other little jobs we (my mechanic and I) put on some new Jetblack Enduro grips.

I'd had a slight issue with binding of bolts on the ODI lock ons and we had to take a Dremel cutting disc to one of them to remove it!

Anyhow - and I stupidly left the replacement ODIs at home but managed to find this Jetblack pair in the back of the car (freebie from Sydney 24) to try. It's this pattern if you don't know what I mean:

Hmmmm... well... after 5 laps of the dam this morning gotta say I don't know where the 'Enduro' part comes from. Perhaps it would be nice when one isn't changing their riding position as much as on a course like the dam, but my hands did feel a little uncomfortable. Mind you - this could be the extra reach left in the brake adjustment. Also - perhaps the grips aren't the issue - the whole body felt a little uncomfortable after this little effort! Eye-wink

Let's see how they go at the Mont then, eh? Smiling

Hmmmm... well these felt OK last weekend at the Mont, but after riding 70 kays this morning the nobby part of these grips began to get somewhat irritating. Come back ODI, all is forgiven! Sad
