Hiya All,

Just a couple of quick questions on flipping the stem on your bike.
What are the pros and cons for doing this ? And what do people recommend for endurance racing eg. 100km vs sprint events eg. 8hr events ?

Thanks
Evan

long time mate! pro's of flipping your stem is quicker handling and better climbing due to being closer to the front wheel. cons are, twitchy handling and unstable descending, also if you're not doing a hundred km's on your bike every other week then you'll probably end up with back pain too. i wouldn't recommend it the day before a race.
i think comfort is king on the 100km races, says he on a bike with slim bars and flipped stem!!!!!
