AMBC / NOBMOB Skills Day on a Sunday

I have PM'ed AMBC and they will hold a AMBC/NOBMOB training day on a Sunday if there is interest.

I am tentatively planning this training day for Sunday 21st June (dependent on AMBC say this day suits them). If they are unavailable it will be some other Sunday in June or July when the Ourimbah track is free.

If you interested in a Sunday training session identical to the one that is now Saturday 20th June please add a comment and say so.

If you think about it - it's highly unlikely that another clinic could be arranged for the 21st. Moreover, if you really wanted to expand the options, having it at least a week or two later would be better as those who are out of town 20/21 would get another chance.

What do these events entail?

Obviously skills improvement. But is it for beginers?

I'm fairly bike capable, but as far as any sort of techincal knowledge regarding MTB is concerned I'm pretty much a novice.

I'm mainly into it for the fun/fitness. Not interested in racing etc. Is it beneficial? What's the latest one can say, yay or nay?

Just an update.

Still waiting for AMBC to confirm the availability of trainers, but the date is more likely to be late July or August.

I will post more when we have a firm date.

Doesn't sound like me... Since i'm just starting out in MTB (used to ride and train hard years ago) and am fairly unfit now. I think I'd better start at a lower grade course. Might just clock up some kms first.
