What should I spend my $90 Million on?
So after my recent run of terrible luck, I feel as though it's my destiny to be the sole-winner (sorry to everyone else who thinks they have a chance) of the $90, 000, 000 Oz Lotto draw next week. Before I contemplate paying off the mortgage, I will be looking at getting the best mtb that the world has to offer!
If you had unlimited funds, what in your opinion is the best MTB money can buy? What makes your choice so special? What 'good-stuff' would it have on it?
Poll?
Maybe I'll buy you one if you're nice......

Id get a pivot with sram xo front and rear and xtr in the middle. Anodised blue would be my pick as it looks super hot.
Carbon bars, crossmax sx wheelset and fox suspension.Yeah i can almost see it now ...
but heres the catch... with that much dough why would you have one bike?
I'd rather get 10 different bikes than 1 or 2 ultimate top bikes including a carbon hard tail, a 29er SS, a xc full sus bike, am full sus bike, a commuter with slicks, oh and a bike with rohloff etc...
Tom
A large parcel of land (maybe the national park land in Oxford Falls) for "Conservation" ban walkers and horse back riders from it while building the best sniggle in sydney for all your nobmob friends to ride.
Hey, if it's $90M, build a shopping list. Here's mine:
Commuter: Norco VFR
Hardtail: Ibis Tranny XTR Build
XC: Pivot Mach 4 XTR Build
XC Long Travel: Ibis Mojo SL WTF Build
All Mountain rig: Pivot Firebird
Freeride: Trek Session 88FR
DH: Yeti DH
Plus the same for my riding mates!
Though I'd still make a track
4 bikes
- Colnago EPS with the top end Campagnolo set
- Santa Cruz Blur LTc with the XTRAM build set and a Fox Talus RCL & RP23 (rear)
- Santa Cruz Nomad with the XTRAM build set and a Fox Vanilla RC2 @ RC4 (rear) - plus upgrade the rear rottor to 180mm
- Santa Cruz V10 with the Team Group set and the Fox 40 rc2 and the RC4 (rear)
And now I will continue to dream
or rather, buy a frame building company and get them to make one for you.
Given the challenges of getting our state govt to listen to us re trail access (the shooters party have their own way of influencing), I'm sure the state govt would open up trails for some $X million. Still leaves bit over to splurge on a new bike.
My personal commitment.... If I win $90M, I'll buy off the govt AND youse all can have a new ride

You guys aren't thinking big enough!!!
With 9,000,000,000 cents.... I would buy every single brand of every single bike model and spec it up in every single major component combination... Front Der/Rear Der/Stem/Handlebar/brakes/wheel/fork/shock/seat/seatpost/cranks/cassette/rings/hub/pedal.
Then just pick whichever one you want to ride.
would someone care to calculate the number of bikes required?
I actually suspect $90mill wont be enough....

When you buy one of each bike you want to have in every city you own a house in where you like ridding - So that a house in Vancouver, Christchurch, Utah, Santa Cruz, Colarado.................
On the plus side (one of many) you wouldn't have to put up with the trail access rubish in Australia when you want to go for a good weekend of riding.
I'd buy as much land around the Northern beaches (Golf courses in particular) and grow Pine and turn them into MTB parks!
