Woodford to Glenbrook Classic

What a great day! Finally got to ride a dry track.

This was the first time I have done this race and it is a great flat out sprint. I played cat and mouse with the guy who came 4th in my category. He would crank it up on all of the long straight descents and I would catch him on corners and pass him at the top of the climbs. Once we got to the final decent we took turns drafting, it is exciting going 50+ km/h when all you see is the bum in front of you and the twigs and rock flying around your head! I lost touch passing some riders who started ahead of us and nearly stacked trying an pass on the inside of one of the corners. There was a photographer there so hopefully there will be some good photos.

I am in for next year, maybe should try to find a ultra-light hardtail.
