Hi Dutch 1, don't know about Ourimbah, but if you're looking at traveling out of Sydney I know Appin's more than likely to be dry. It was last weekend.

Cheers

There is an Appin ride this saturday, catering for all ability levels. First lap will be done as a group then for the 2nd lap we will likely break into groups.

There was two or three puddles but still came away from three laps over two days with a dry bike

I was up there on Sunday. The track was in FANTASTIC condition. Only one puddle to mention (at the bottom of The Drop). The graveyard has had some drainage work done and was the driest I've ever seen it.

Bluray, where is the new sniggle at Ourimbah? I was impressed with the re-opening of the Short Meadows when I rode there about 2 weeks ago. Was there a new section in the Graveyard, something seemed unfamiliar about it? The new line at the top of Jelly Leg Hill just before the Roller-Coaster was handy.

I was out there today blasting the new bike, and the track was in awesome condition. The bike had a little bit of dirt under the frame, but was pretty much clean after the ride. And that was after doing 2 laps!

I noticed a few extra lines cut around old, worn & washed out lines, and the new short meadows section was nice. Still did the steep meadows climb though Eye-wink

Hopefully the rain that's falling in Sydney tonight is missing Ourimbah (and from the look of the BOM radar at the moment, it just may be!) as the track is bloody great, mostly dry, and just wants to be ridden fast! Even the Graveyard dry.

The only parts that were damp/soft were the G-outs through the gullies coming down the Rollercoaster - but only in the bottom of the gullies, so if you rail it around the top (as you should! Eye-wink ) then you stay on dry dirt - one or two points in the Graveyard (only at the edges of the track), and the usual spots during the climb through the Meadows.

The new baby doesn't even need a clean though! Well impressed with the track conditon today! Laughing out loud
