Menai Mid Week Ride
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
By the sports field on Old Illawarra Road, Barden Ridge.
I've changed the time of this ride due to the regulars not being available this week and no other takers. I'm not brave, or should I say stupid enough to ride at night on my own, so I'll be starting earlier.
If any one can make the earlier time you're more than welcome to join me.
The ride will include some great single track, some tricky technical sections, up and down.
This ride will probably not suit a beginner due to some of the trickier bit's.

Yellowmundee XC Entertainment
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
There's a car park (click for foggy picture) on Springwood Road - just down the way from Hawkesbury Heights if you're looking for a suburb name.
Here is one of the nicest XC courses around and it's paticularly nice in the late afternoon.
There is nothing really hard about the track, other than the usual difficulties one would experience on a track they've never been on before. It gets a bit tight in places and some trees are known to leap out in front of those not paying attention.
The climbs aren't overly tough and the descents are rather straight forward. A good place for the less experienced.
Ride pace will be medium.

Northern Beaches Hill Fest (Dirtworks training!)
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
End of Wyatt Ave, Belrose - this is on the East side of Garigal National Park.
Plan is to the Northern Beaches Hill Fest and add Perimeter, Long Tracks and possibly Oxford Falls.

This will be a semi-serious training ride, planning to pack-in around 70km plus hills.
I haven't actually rode on a lot of the trails so if anyone has and would like to play Tour Guide Barbie that'd be awesome.
Would prefer a small group but anyone not afraid of some serious hard work are more than welcome.
See you in the morning
Phil

Terrey Hills Perimeter & Long X 2
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
Due to my lack of organisation and inability to make a decision I missed out on both of the rides today, therfore I plan to do an early Terrey Hills ride tomorrow. My main aim is to get some km in as I have the BMC Mountains to Beach looming so plan to do about 50km. As I don't know all of the trails here very well this will probably mean Perimeter and Long x 2, a bit repetitive I know so if anybody comes who knows the area better than I am open to change, so long as we get about 50km in.

A Few Good Laps...Damly Man Style...
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
King Street (near corner with Arana Street), Manly Vale. You know - outside Manly Hydraulics Lab.
So...Need to go or a ride this weekend, Sat arvo has turned out way too hot so Sunday Morning at the Dam it is...
Bit of a cruise, not super fast, not super slow, see how the mood takes me (and how many beers I get through this evening )
Probably just 2 laps, would be good to have some company - not just me & the ipod!!
come on, you know you want to...

Rebels at Ourimbah
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
North End of Red Hill Rd, Ourimbah State Forest. There's a large-ish parking area here, just off the main sealed road. There is also a smaller parking area a little further (400m or so from the road) where the trail splits - this second area is the usual meeting point. If you end up driving up a steep hill you've gone too far.
Rebel riders break from Marramarra on Saturday morning!
Not wanting to try the rough and tumble of Marramarra (or that nasty hill!) this small band of ill equipped and poorly trained riders will converge at Ourimbah. The odds are against them, but undaunted an assault on the usual sniggle loop will be made. Again and again into the breach, until their legs give way or... erm... it's time to go home.
Small fast group, 40 minute laps, brief detour up Demtel maybe... yada, yada.
Are you the droids the we seek?

Terrey Hills Wednesday
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Park opposite/beside Terrey Hills shops, corner Booralie Rd/Yulong Ave. Or in the small carpark next to the RFS station & community centre.
Greetings all,
I will be doing a fast ride of the Terrey Hills area this evening commencing at 6:30. The speed will be at training pace, with minimal stops along the way. Not sure yet which trails I will do, but something that takes about 2 hours. Maybe Duckholes/Centre + Perimeter and back.
I will park in the RFS carpark at Terrey Hills shops. I drive a blue Mazda.

Wiseman's Ferry ride.
The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.
Wisemans Ferry - by the East ferry crossing. Park in front of the kiosk in Wiseman's Ferry Park.
65-70k (approx).
Ride from the ferry up Western Commission Track (WCT) to its junction with the Great North Road (GNR).
Turn right until we hit the junction of GNR / Donny's Track.
Take Donny's for a 15k (may be 20 - Bluray has the map!) loop back to Ten Mile Hollow, then back along the GNR all the way to, and down, Shepherd's Gully.
9k's along the gravel to completely finish us off followed by the obligatory VERY dodgy pie at the greasy spoon (kiosk). Ian, are you still alive mate?
