Just a social ride, not a race. I have not done much riding the last 6 months so going up the hills wont be quick, but going down should be fun. Not really for beginners, but if you starting out and want to get lights (good lights) and have a go then send me a PM to discuss. Gets pretty cold this time of year so make sure your rugged up to begin with and then be able to shred off some gear once you hit a hill or two.

Please do not park in this car park.

Parking and official trail head is now designated a further 350m or so up the road where there is a larger area. There's a CCOMTB notice board here by the trail entrance (on the left as you drive up the hill). Park up nose to curb or as directed.

Depending on group size we take about 1.45. Actual ride time about 1.15. Told you it was social.

You are looking at an almost brand new Trance rebuilt in April with a brand new 2010 X1 frame and BB. New rear rim and drive train (cluster, rear / front derailleurs, chain and mid front chainring). The remaining parts of from my original Trance X3.

Note: The KS automatic seatpost in the images is not included. The original Raceface seatpost is.

This bike is good working order except for the Fox front forks which need a major service or replacing as they are leaking oil. Some cable rub on forks and rear shock.

Social Night Ride @ Terrey Hills, Perimeter + Long Trail

Don't miss this ride and the Post-Budget round-table at the tavern, with a very opinionated panel (SRAM vs Shimano) representing different industries and sectors. Discuss how the budget will impact on your MTB'ing this coming financial year. Will you have to work harder - or is there money left for new bling parts? Eye-wink

This ride starts at 7 PM at the Japanese School roundabout, to avoid the muddy bits and to get us back before the Tavern's kitchen closes for last orders at 8:39 PM.
