Amazing all mountain bike that handles the down with increadible composure yet still pedals easily back to the top.
An all day epic bike running a 2009 Fox RP23 rear shock with Pro Pedal giving a plush 6" of rear travel and a Rock Shox Lyric 160mm fork with 20mm Maxle.
Avid Juicy 5 SL hydraulic discs running 6" rear and 8" front rotors.
Specialized seat post and seat.
2 x 9 speed and will include large ring for 3 x 9 speed.
Small dent in seat stay above the FSR decal been there for years and does not effect the performance in any way.

This ride starts at 7:00pm at the Japanese School roundabout, to avoid the muddy bits and to get us back in time to get schnitzeling at the Tavern.

This ride starts at 7 PM at the Japanese School roundabout, to avoid the muddy bits and to get us back before the Tavern's kitchen closes for last orders at 8:39 PM.

White in colour and includes pads, Avid cleansweep rotors 185 front and 160 rear, 185 post mount adapter, rotor bolts and mounting hardware.
Will box and post at buyers expense.

This bike is in as new condition, most parts are new.
Paid $3,300 last year and most parts were upgraded at that time that's why it's now listed as new.
Frame has never been ridden as it is a warranty replacement.
Running XT and SLX drivetrain. Avid Elixer CR brakes, and the reliable fully tunable Fox shocks RLC front and RP23 rear. Note the new model has rockshox not the smooth Fox.

X7 shifters 2x 10 speed $40
Elixir CR brakes via matchmaker clamps. Brakes will be sold with 160mm rotors and either IS or PM mounts as required asking $250 for the set. ($330 including X9 derailleur and shifters)
X9 rear derailleur , 10 speed, Carbon cage $65
Used XX brake. came off the rear of a small bike so might cable length might need to be modified. length of black cable is 115cm.

Lots of upgrades, including XT tubeless rims, XT rear derailleur, XT drive line, Chris King headset and had the forks and shock rebuilt about 10 months ago. Done about 10 hrs since then. New Maxis ignitor tubeless rubber.
Muched loved bike but i only seem to ride my DH rig these days and i need the cash to pay for a wedding..

2012 is the 8th running of The Briars Highland Fling, Australia's MTB Marathon Championship. The Fling is a mountain bike marathon for all. It offers a scenic and challenging route through forests and farmland in the Southern Highlands of NSW, hammering singletrack, forest tracks, dirt road and less than 2km of blacktop.
