Snowies MTB Festival

The Snowies Mountain Bike Festival brings you some of the very best riding found anywhere in Australia. Based in the heart of Australia's iconic Snowy Mountains, riders will be challenged with 4 diverse stages that will test speed, endurance, stamina and technical skills.
Stage 1: The Time Trial (5.5km)
Stage 2: The Summit Smash (21.5km)
Stage 3: The Descender (24km)
Stage 4: The Marathon (75km)
Tackle all 4 stages as a solo or as a team of 2 or 3, OR choose to do the 75k marathon or 30k XC only in this 'not to be missed' Mountain Bike Experience.
Woodford to Glenbrook Classic 2014: 25 km Blue Mountains
Join the CareFlight Woodford to Glenbrook Classic 2014 and run or ride the Oaks Fire Trail through the beautiful Blue Mountains National Park from the town of Woodford down to the Euroka Clearing near Glenbrook.
Covering 25km of undulating bushland, the trail is incredibly scenic and a must for keen mountain bikers and trail runners. Participants are supported the full length of the track by Rural Fire Service crews stationed along the way, providing First Aid and drinks. A CareFlight doctor and St John Ambulance volunteers will also be in support.
Rock Wallaby Enduro
Appin Park Event Centre, Appin
The Rock Wallaby mountain bike enduro will be held on Sunday 27 May, with the kind assistance of the people of Appin and Wollongong Mountain Bike Club (WMBC).
The Rock Wallaby's main act will be a 50km half marathon event with a support act consisting of a 25km event with a number of sub-categories within each one.

After a great Series finale at the renowned singletrack of Awaba State Forest, we're stoked that have Hunter Mountain Bike Association invited us back once again to enjoy their mtb nirvana!

SRAM Singletrack Mind Series Round 5
The main rd in has been dusty as all get up so in an effort to keep on the good side of the locals it might be best to come in via the showground.
From the highway come into Rydal, cross the train tracks and take a left before the Pub (Showground signposted.)
Go around the top side of the show ground and follow the road around to the left. This will take you around towards the top side of the cemetery. from there a couple of cross rd will bring you back tot he bicentennial trail and thus the car park

The new course at Rydal was a great hit with competitors last year, with its serpentine singletrack and fantastic event centre at Rydal Showground. The great crew from Central Tablelands MTB Club and the Rydal community are looking forward to welcoming us back in 2012.

Heading to yet another exciting new venue, the Series will visit the Southern Highlands Cycle Club's newly extended Welby track on 16 September 2012.

Coondoo Road, Nowra
The SRAM Singletrack Mind Series features six mountain bike endurance events, of 7 or 8 hours duration. They will take you to six different locations in NSW and ACT, each one renowned for its flowing singletrack and fun factor.
Round 3 on 19 August 2012 is at South Coast United Mountainbikers’ fantastic Coondoo Road track in Currambene State Forest near Nowra. The course offers a bunch of different options for course setting, and while it’s great for the novice rider more experienced riders tell us it’s a tough one to ride consistently fast!
SRAM Singletrack Mind Series Round 2
The Ride Canberra site describes the main forest entrance as being the corner of Kowan Road and Sutton Roads. There is a parking area 5km into the forest along Kowan road with gates that may be locked. Call Canberra Connect (13 22 81) for the combinations or ride from Sutton Road for a warm up.

The city of Orange is around 4 hrs from Sydney and 3 hrs from Canberra. Kinross State Forest is situated on the northeast edge of town, a 10 minute drive or 20 minute ride from the Orange town centre.
Meet at the Bulgas Road carpark, Western edge of the forest.

Central West Off-Road Bicycle Club have been instrumental in developing a large network of trails close to Orange in Kinross State Forest. They'll be providing a purpose-built enduro loop for the race, and with the wide range of options for accommodation and gourmet food in Orange, this is an event not to be missed!
Entries open for 2009 Capertee-Challenge 26/27th September
Entries have just opened for 2009 Capertee-Challenge 26/27th September at www.capertee-challenge.com . I did it last year and it was a lot of fun and the two 50km+ loops over saturday afternoon and sunday morning is an interesting way to wind down from the more difficult 100km Mogo ride whilst keeping fitness.
